Richard Young (Editorial director, EquityFC.com)
Richard has spent more than eight years writing for and about finance directors and financial controllers. He was deputy editor then acting editor of Financial Director magazine. Then in March 2001 he launched Real Finance (now known as Real FD) for Caspian Publishing, creating a true community title for all UK senior financial decision makers. He also started a blog, realfinance.net, in February 2003 - eventually making more than 1,600 postings before his departure in July 2006.
He's now a freelance writer, editor and conference facilitator, has held workshops for FDs on press relations and acts as a communications consultant for a number of organisations seeking to influence businesspeople who have a financial background or discipline.
